Titratable acidity

This method can be applied to (liquid) milk and milk powder from both cow and goat and is in accordance with GB 5009.239.

A homogeneous suspension is made from the sample. It is then automatically titrated with sodium hydroxide until the pH change is detected. Based on the amount of sodium hydroxide added, the acidity of the sample is calculated.
