CCIC Europe food test B.V. Joins China–Netherlands Food Safety Exchange as the Only Invited Industry Representative
On 1 September 2026, CCIC Europe food test B.V. participated as the only invited industry representative in a China–Netherlands inspection and quarantine exchange meeting in The Hague, organized by the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands.
Chinese Ambassador Shen Bo attended and addressed the meeting, which brought together more than 30 participants from the visiting delegation of China’s General Administration of Customs (GACC), the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature (LVVN), and the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA).
Ambassador Shen highlighted China’s growing demand for high-quality food and agricultural products and its willingness to share market opportunities with the Netherlands. Referring to the “Sharing a Large Market, Exporting to China” initiative, he called for closer regulatory cooperation to support continued growth in agricultural trade.
Susanne Sütterlin, Chief Phytosanitary Officer at LVVN, reaffirmed the Netherlands’ strong commitment to agricultural cooperation with China and expressed interest in strengthening communication and expanding cooperation in agrifood trade.
